EDB transforms into Digital Governance
Engineering Development Board (EDB) has transformed from manual filing system to Digital Governance (E-Office) for cataloguing, storage, retrieval and transmission of official information with cooperation of National Information Technology Board (NITB).
E-Office is a File and Document Management System with single standard file movement and tracking across the Government departments . By implementing E-Office, EDB takes a transformative step towards achieving 100% digitalization in managing files and processes for faster disposal of official assignments.
Secretary, Industries and Production, Mr. Saif Anjum inaugurated the event and eulogized the efforts of both the Government entities . Engr. Khuda Bukhsh (CEO, EDB), Mr. Babar Majid Bhatti (CEO, NITB), Mr. Muhammad Asad Islam Mahni (Additional Secretary, MOIP), Mr. Asif Saeed Khan Lughmani (Additional Secretary, MOIP), Mr. Zulfiqar Hussein (Joint Secretary, MOIP), Mr. Faqir Ullah (PD, E-Office, NITB), Advisors (EDB) and other senior officers/officials attended inauguration ceremony and greenlighted the system on Friday, January 17, 2025
