SAPM Haroon Akhtar Khan Visits EDB Appreciates Efforts, Suggests Complaint Redressal Mechanism
Islamabad, July 31, 2025, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production, Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan, visited the Engineering Development Board (EDB), where he was welcomed by Mr. Khuda Bukhsh, CEO, EDB
During the visit, the SAPM was briefed on the mandate, functions, and ongoing initiatives of EDB. He appreciated the work being carried out by the organization and acknowledged its role in promoting the engineering sector and supporting industrial development.
Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan inspected the office infrastructure and safety arrangements, and commended the management for maintaining operational standards.
As part of further strengthening public service, he suggested the introduction of a Complaint Redressal Portal and the formation of a dedicated committee to address stakeholder concerns and improve responsiveness.
He also emphasized the importance of continued progress and innovation, stating that collaborative efforts and leadership are key to building institutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.
