Welcome of New CEO – Mr. Hamad Ali Mansoor
Islamabad, October 30, 2025 — The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Engineering Development Board (EDB), Mr. Hamad Ali Mansoor, formally assumed charge today.
He was warmly welcomed by Engr. Khudh Bakhsh, Senior General Manager (SDTG), along with Advisors, GMs and other officers and officials of EDB. A formal introduction of the EDB team was also conducted.
Mr. Hamad Ali Mansoor brings with him extensive experience in the field of engineering. He is a trained industrial policy and development strategist with over three decades of experience spanning manufacturing, renewable energy, and sustainable infrastructure.
During the occasion, Engr. Khuda Bakhsh briefed the new CEO on EDB’s mandate and ongoing initiatives, including the formulation of the various policies, plans and strategic initiatives, Strengthening the Engineering Industry (SEI) project under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), and flagship initiatives such as the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Policy 2025–2030 and the PAVE Scheme.
