Meeting with BIAC Group China on Investment in Pakistan’s Electric Vehicle Sector
A meeting with the BIAC Group China regarding potential investment in Pakistan’s Electric Vehicle (EV) sector was held on 20th October 2025 at the Engineering Development Board (EDB), Islamabad. The meeting was chaired by Engr. K.B. Ali, CEO, EDB, and attended by senior EDB Officers/officials and representatives from BIAC Group China.
The discussion focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in EV assembly, battery manufacturing, and component production. The EDB team also briefed the delegation on the facilitation measures and incentives available under the upcoming New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Policy 2025–2030, aimed at attracting investment and promoting local manufacturing in the EV sector.
