Participation of EDB in the EVS Show Lahore (August 1st to 3rd 2025)
The three-day Electricity Pakistan and EVS World exhibitions, held from August 1st to 3rd, 2025, at the Expo Centre Lahore, brought together key stakeholders from the electric vehicle (EV) and sustainable energy sectors.
The event served as a vibrant platform for innovation, collaboration, and technology exchange. The Engineering Development Board (EDB), under the Ministry of Industries and Production, actively participated in the EVS Show 2025 to promote electric mobility and sustainable transport in Pakistan.
The event was inaugurated by Engr. Khuda Bukhsh, Chief Executive Officer, Engineering Development Board (EDB), Islamabad, who emphasized the government’s strong commitment to clean and modern transportation systems.
EDB’s dedicated stall featured the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Policy 2025–2030, facilitated discussions with industry players, and showcased potential investment opportunities in the local EV manufacturing ecosystem. EDB’s presence underscored its ongoing efforts to foster innovation, drive localization, and align national priorities with global advancements in clean transport technologies.
