Islamabad: Representatives of the Chinese New Energy Industry Association and New Green Energy Technology, visited EDB to meet with Chief Executive Officer, Engineering Development Board (EDB) Mr. Faisal Nisar Chaudhry.
The meeting focused on Chinese investment, local assembly & manufacturing, electric mobility, battery storage system, EV battery swapping arrangements and development of local supply chains.
The delegation expressed interest in expanding Chinese investment and manufacturing activities in Pakistan. The CEO-EDB assured continued facilitation within the applicable policy and regulatory framework.
