Board, in pursuance of the decision of its Board of Management has
announced an extensive Industrial Research Programme (IRP–2012) in
collaboration with the Academia and the Higher Education
Commission(HEC) for resolving the industrial technical problems and
to address product up-gradation & innovation, new designs and
processes, quality and TBT related issues etc.
EDB has already taken on
board a team of 992 University Professors, Scientists,
Technologists, Researchers (Ph.D and M.Phil) in 308 fields
waiting to address industrial product and production problems
covering all products related to engineering sectors, applied
physics and applied chemistry.
Industry is encouraged
to benefit from this excellent opportunity as it would not only
facilitate industry in resolving their Industrial Technical Problems
but also foster much needed innovation in the products and the
processes to enable industry enhance its competitiveness on
